Last night my good friend at Unholy Rhythms was kind enough to send me this brand-spanking-new song by eros+massacre, her musical side-project with Young Henry. The two of them, though separated by several hundred miles, manage to craft some genuinely eerie darkwave that just begs to be heard.

Now right off the bat this song commands your attention, there is no choice. A barrage of blown-out sound invades your senses and blurs your vision. It has you by the throat and there is no escaping its grip. Then, through all the white noise a spectral voice is heard. She is beckoning you further into the darkness. Despite your initial protesting, you take her hand and never look back. It’s beautiful and twisted and irresistible.

The duo is hard at work on crafting some more material. So download this track and prepare to mark your calendars. I can’t wait to hear what they come up with.
