Ra Cailum // Passage EP In honor/celebration of his album Walkabout seeing a cassette release, Ra Cailum (Anthony Engelhardt) has released yet another EP for free download on his bandcamp. This one is called Passage and according to his site, these songs (some old, some new) were collected post-Walkabout and released for your listening pleasure. If you’ve never listened to Ra Cailum before then you are definitely missing out. He is without a doubt one of my favorite chillwave artists around (and believe me, there are plenty of them). The reason why is that his music has such an aquatic quality to it, that it’s impossible not to think of summer vacations while your listening to it. It’s as if the music is being blasted underwater as you go snorkeling in a tropical reef amidst all sorts of colorful fish.
